Anna Sheppard
Principal Speech Pathologist
Anna has extensive experience in communication and swallowing difficulties in the adult population. She is passionate about providing client-centred, evidence-based assessment and intervention in collaboration with family, support workers and relevant clinicians to ensure the best possible outcome.
Anna is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and has a professional membership with Speech Pathology Australia. Anna holds a provider number recognised by WA Health Funds and accepts GP referrals for eligible individuals under the Medicare funded CDM (Chronic Disease Management) program and DVA (Department of Veteran’s Affairs). She will see individuals on Home Care Packages and those funded by NDIS (self-managed and plan managed).
Services
At Sheppard Speech Pathology, we provide services to clients with communication and swallowing difficulties in the adult population, including acute and progressive neurological disorders such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s Disease, Motor Neurone Disease and Dementia.
We provide a mobile service seeing clients in their home and we will travel within an 80km radius of Perth CBD.
Funding
We provide services to clients with:
-NDIS funding - if plan-managed or self-managed. We do not currently provide a service for NDIS Agency Managed clients.
-Home Care Packages
-DVA gold card benefits
-Medicare CDM plan
We also see privately paying clients
Referrals
Referrals can be made directly via phone, email or referral link.
You do not need a medical referral for speech pathology services (excepts for DVA gold card holder or medicare subsidised chronic disease management plan)
